6.4 egt / power issue

On my 08 F-350 I have recently noticed the egt's seem to be higher . Just cruzing along at 45 I am seeing around 375 or so which seems normal . If I touch the throttle at all it climbs very fast . Flooring it from a 45 mph roll it climbs to 1400 in seconds . The truck feels down on power as well . It almost feels like I am pulling a trailer even when not . I have the dpf deleted and am running an h&s mini max with the big power tune in it . I have pulled a light trailer with this and only seem egt's of around 1200 . This just seemed to come on out of no where . I jumped on the throttle earlier and after letting off hear a clicking noise that lasted a few seconds and went away . This wasn't a heat ticking noise .....

No 6.4 experts out there ? I am good with 7.3s and 6.0s just don't know much about the 6.4s . Anyone ever hear of anything even remotely close to the situation I have ?

After a cold soak what does your EGT read key on, engine off?

Sounds to me like the sensor is dickered, or you've got a serious overfueling condition.

I think he means leaving it sit until it is completely cooled down . I will check in the morning and see what it reads .

140, mine does the same with EDGE CTS, that might the lowest the sensor goes.

1. Run in stock (no high HP gains), problem continue?
2. Have you done an EGR delete?
3. Blackstone report? Might be worth it.
4. Have injectors check

Thanks for the reply . I have not deleted the egr but will be doing that very soon . I will check/try the rest of what you said and see where it stands . I don't drive it everyday so I haven't been in too big of a hurry to work on it plus I have been really busy lately so it keeps getting pushed back .
