Fuel Filter or HPFP????!!

Last night on maw way home I stopped at a red light and when I went to go nothing happened! I would push the accelerator pedal but the RPMs didnít move. I left the truck in drive and coasted into a parking lot. I put the truck in neutral and park. I tried to rev up the motor and nothing. When in park or neutral though the RPM s would start to climb, but if I pushed the brake they would stay down. I killed the truck and it cranked right up and drove fine. It never threw a check engine light or anything. All I have done to the truck is DPF delete and SCT can tuner. Any ideas what the problem could be? I dont know if its related to this or not but every now and then when accelerating I hear a weird noise comming from the firewall kinda between me and the motor. It doesnt do it all the time just sometimes when i start to accelerate then goes away. Like the motor is under a load or something im not sure how to explain it.
