ONLY HAD IT 3 WEEKS AND IT'S LEAKING!!

Hey guys just picked up my new F250 FX4 three weeks ago it only has 560 miles! I took it in to have them check out an oil leak. They called today and the rear main seal is already shot!! This is my first and my first diesel!! Is this just the beginning??

I assume it was just a bad seal! I couln't be happier with my truck but the reason I bought it in the first place was my chevy was falling apart it was an 2005 with 26,000 miles!! Just dont want the same old probems

There are 2 ways you can look at this..

1. It's not leaking...it's marking it's territory.
2. It's not leaking,...it is the "auto lubrication" option,..for lubricating your undercarriage.

Good thing its under warrenty. Run the dog crap out of it to see if anyhting else is gonna break early while youre at it!!

Shoot, mine has a problem with marking, and I opted for the underside covering across the whole chassis! hehehe

Or you could treat it like an old Harley. Throw a drip pan under it and just add oil when it stops leaking.

Seriously though I hope they get it taken care of for you!
