replacement 6.4 engine

Does anyone know who or where to go to get a good used or reman 6.4 engine. I have one that runs rough and was told that the cam shaft or lifters are the cause.

Salvage yards. Just be cautious of where you go not all auto salvage yards are very friendly places

I'd rather replace a camshaft and lifter rather than replace the whole motor.

You'll pay way more in labor to replace those parts than you would just swapping in a used engine.

i would say call powerstrokehelp.com and see if he will build you one and ship it over then u ship the core back.
he has some headgasket coating thing that i dont know much or care much about but OEM gaskets are just fine in the 6.4 in my eyes, but he coudl get you one cheeper then ford plus it would be built fixing any known issues, like rocker arm impaction ect...

Might I ask what the symptoms are? Is it shaking or something? I'm just curious.
