Here you go. I just did this a couple weeks ago. This wont do you much good if you haven't did egr delete though. If you are replacing it then no, u have to pull the cab.
6.4L Up-pipe delete & EBP relocation

you can change the passenger side with out cab removal, but i think the drivers pipe would be too big to fit.

I would recommend doing this then. Good luck. It's not too big of a deal.

passenger side is done by removing all right side body bolts and loosening drivers side bolts. lift the right side body until just before the left headlight contacts the bumper (i use a hoist). remove the down pipe and then the up pipe.

the same process, reversed obviously, might let you remove the drivers up pipe. lift slowly and watch for everything. if not, it'll let you get to some of those bolts easier.

Work shop manual says both sides can be done with cab on.

Driver side is easy. Passenger side a bit harder. Says remove DP, step one of removing DP is remove transmission.

Yup, I pull the trans to change them. If I am doing one....I do both once the trans is out its easy.

Yes you can remove the tranny. Forgot that, but you don't need the drivers side one anyway.

wicked screech

Hey guys... new to this deal. 08 f350 6.4 150kms
wicked screech coming from passenger rear exhaust. took a quick look and noticed broken exhaust manifold bolts, both sides. local shop says cab off, both flex pipes, both manifolds replace, and probably whatever else goes south along the way... $7000 . Is this typical???
