Mine did the same thing at 150000 miles, it wound up being the High Pressure Fuel Pump, and it was a cab off repair.. I say take to the dealer and have it checked out.

01 F-250 4x4 XLT

Diablo Programmer set on 100hp
"A" pillar TST gauges, Boost, EGT,Airbag Pressure
Firestone RideRite Air bags w/in cab controls

pullin heavy loads and blacksmokin

I have been told that "I have issues"

CAB OFF REPAIR means that whoever you have replace the high pressure pump has to take the cab off of the truck to get to the pump.
