Red face P200e code, STOP SAFELY NOW

Hey guys , I got this code and situation yesterday, had to put the truck on the hook and send it to the dealer. I made an emergency call to a buddy of mine, who is a Ford diesel tech, he told me that the #3 egt sensor went out. I told this to the dealer where the truck was, so they replaced it, reset the system, truck runs good again. My question is, do I have an underlying problem that needs to be investigated? Just for info my truck is bone stock with over 317000 miles. I need to update my info, I now have a 2009 F-250 Lariat 6.4

01 F-250 4x4 XLT
368,000 and counting
6spd manual
Diablo Programmer set on 100hp
"A" pillar TST gauges, Boost, EGT,Airbag Pressure
Firestone RideRite Air bags w/in cab controls
Fireston Destination AT 305/70/16 on Eagle Alloys
pullin heavy loads and blacksmokin

I have been told that "I have issues"

Now she's fixed and ready to roll another 300,000

You have over 300K on an 09 and are wondering if a bad sensor is normal? I would say with that kinda mileage yes, and I would probably work to replace all the sensors down there if they are all original.

Electrical things go bad, especially with that kinda miles on it, heck they go bad with way less. I would say this was totally normal and there aren't any crazy issues at all.

Don't take this the wrong way and I'm not looking for an argument, But my question WAS and I quote "Is there a chance that there is an UNDERLYING problem that needs to be investigated further?" NOT is this normal. Look I've had great service out of this truck. Please understand the question before you reply. Thanks for the help..
