Engine Quiting

Has anyone had this problem. I was hwy driving and suddenly lost power and then the engine died. Engine would not refire. Called for a tow truck and after waiting for about an hour tried to start it and it started. Called off the tow truck. Proceeded to travel home and it ran for about 30 minutes of hwy driving and started to lose power again and then died again. (no idiot lights were on) Called for the tow truck again. Tried to restart after about 1 hour and it started. The tow truck arrived and towed it to the dealer. It's not fun to lose all power traveling at 60 miles per hour. My truck is an 08 with 41,000k. I love the truck, but am really getting tired of Ford's diesel issues. Have had a rad replaced and the high pressure fuel pump replaced

Did it go into regen when it died? I've read where that has been an issue for some of the stalls. Even the newer school buses with the dpf are having major issues. Not sure what the solution is but the dpf does not seem like a reasonable solution. Let us know what you find out from the dealer.

Sounds like the high pressure fuel pump again......possible overheating????? Which would maybe explain why it fires after is has had time to cool down and then get hots and shuts off
