Need help, fan noise while hauling.

So this weekend hauling 5,000lbs and going over the mountains only doing about 40mph. due to traffic. Mid through when I hit the gas ever so slightly a "fan" sounding noise occurred during acceleration. All of my parameters have been set pretty low. I have a 175 tune with dpf delete. Any help on what this noise could be would be great. Spartan tuner, Cat back MBRP, SD intake. That's it. Just want a reliable truck. Also did not loose boost, or power, and everything responded nicely. First time hauling something that heavy with the tuner so not sure what to expect. Thanks again guys

It's probably just the fan kicking on.

Is this fan cooling any fluids, or strictly air only, and at what temp. Does it kick on?

That is the sound of the fan clutch being engaged causing the vehicle fan to run. It's normal, just helps pull air through the radiator on hot days, at slow speeds, etc. Nothing to be concerned with at all. I don;t know exactly when it is supposed to kick on, mine has kicked in on a hot day in traffic even when not towing.
