Smile 6.4 not running right?? i might have a solution

i have a 08 f250 6.4 that i have had in and out of the shop so many times that i was about to trade it in but when they only wanted to give me 38k for my truck i laughed at them. FORD was giving me all kinds of excusses saying i was putting cheap fuel in/ telling me to use there additive ... too many to remember and also it pisses me off even thinking about all there excusses.
i even talked to reps at a boat show and they even said it was bogus. they told me to call FORD well i decided not to because ive already heard enough lip service from my local dealer. so i started going thru my truck myself and i figured it out.
My truck was getting poor fuel milage/ smoking at times/ hesitating at times/ turbo jumping all around/ going into regen. just about all the time... put it this way alot of different things that the dealer tried changing out parts/ and giving excusses.
I am hoping you all can help me out by posting replys on here about how your 6.4 is running and when i take my truck into service in 2-3 weeks i will tell them to look on here. after they look/if they will look i will post on here what ive done to my truck to make it run good again.
my dad took his 7.3 in for service today and they were asking how my truck was running because they have not heard from me. my dad just told them it was running good and they would have to ask me what i did SINCE THEY COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT!!!!
so please help me out add post wether ur truck is running great or like junk id like to see. and ill post what i did to my truck in 2-3 weeks- if i never post it feel free to email me at blueahli@hotmail.com

Well i only have 5500 miles but my truck has run flawlessly, until today i noticed that when i put in pto (high idle) it hiccups about every fifteen seconds, no big deal but a little disheartening. After being wrecked, the passenger door leaks a little and the steering is a little loose, i think its the box but the dealer takes so long i sick of dealing with them, im going to start taking matters into my own hands as well...

Why not post your problem / solution?

Seems like this is worse than trying to deal with the dealer your describing. I don't get it.

My truck is running good, no additives needed.

......sounds like a simply flash or program issue, or it might be something to do with regen, in that the DPF is full, but the truck isn't fully aware of it........what is your solution and why would it take 2 to 3 weeks?

I would also try to find a different dealer. I know I had to.

Some places just like to take the time do things right. Hopefully you aren't too far away from another one.

Well I still don't understand why you can't tell us what you are doing so we can give our input, but its your choice.......as far as a "good dealer" goes, everyone has had bad experiences and good experiences with different dealers. I won't take that guy's word for it, I would still try it. Another question is are you taking it to a small dealer or big dealer?

Hmmmmm, ok......I'm not going to sit here and guess, there is a lot that happens in the combustion process, I'm mean you posted on here that your truck wasn't running right and you wanted our input......well we can't give that to you if your not going to tell us..... but if you think go have it fixed then cool, hope it works out.....guess we'll find out what you did in 2 to 3 weeks
