both turbos bad?

Guys, I recently lost boost on my 2008 with 106000miles on it and took it to ford dealer and both turbos need replacing. Is this common or unusual? The check engine light did come on after boost was lost. What may have caused this?

The only truck i had to put both turbos in was caused be a blown boost tube. The custome kept driving and overheated the hell out of the turbos. Fixed the boost tube for him, and 20 miles later the turbos started to make a nasty noise.

I would make sure they aren't just trying to get your money......

Ask WHY they both need to be replaced, and report that back here.
