Starter goin bad

I have a 6.4 with a manual tranny and my starter is goin bad. It too scared to turn my truck off because I have no other form of transportation right now and I'm taking it to the dealer in the morning. Can somebody help me locate the dang thing, so if I need to I can try to jump the starter? Or tell me how hard it is to replace.

THe starter is on the passenger side right in front of the block drain for the coolant. Not sure how hard it is to replace as i have never replaced mine.

yes, it was the starter. i was in a bind, and had to end up taking it to the ford house. Cost me $730. new starter from o'reillys or autozone is $200. i got screwed, but i had no other choice. i appreciate y'alls help though. it was a learning experience.
