6.4 help

08 f250 180,000 miles coming in from work a few ago it started running bad ..its smoking and missing see some oil leaking from drivers side ...my H&S shows 3 codes PO284 cyl 8 contribution/balance ..PO263 cyl 1 contribution/balance and PO308 cly 8 mis fire ...any ideas what is my problem guys ...

also has lots of pressure and blow by on the oil filler cap when you remove it

Is oil level overfull?

It sounds to me like an injector is most likely bad. I'd run relative compression test at minimum. Then I would ensure the injector harness is not chaffed anywhere especially around fuel filter bowl area. Do you have a decent scan tool that can do relative compression, power balance testing, and the standard ford tests? If not your most likely going to have to take it somewhere.

i dont have any of the tools its at the shop now ..not sure till he pulls it down but some test run this evening showed #8 cly down 14%

Im at shy of 180,000. Ivillelightning, were there any symptoms prior to experiencing the smoking and missing?

No symptoms at all just left a stop sign and it started missing and running bad
