08 6.4 metal in oil filter

I had my headgaskets blow so I had a diesel shop instal arp studs, then I get the call its ready get down there injector 4 stuck open so they put that in. Get halfway home I hear a ticking noise when i rolled the windows down only does it when its warmed up. Get home with it and found out they put a aFe oil filter in so i decided to change it, when i do i find little specs of metal throughout the filter its not magnetic. They are stumped with this, i dont even know where to start any help is appreciated thanks!

You should do a blackstone oil analysis to see what it is and go from there.
