No Boost?!?!?!?

I have an 08 F250, it's done this before and I took it to the dealer besides looking at me like i'm an idiot or a dumb girl I get told nothing is wrong....

Anyways.. here is problem.
When driving my boost just drops, RPM's go up, my miles to gallon go to like 5 mpg, and vehicle will not shift.
The last time it did this, i called the dealer and they sent a tow truck after it. the guy went to just pull the front tires on the flat bed and it had absolutly no power.. couldn't even spin the rear tires over. They said it just needed a computer update... well that took them a week to do.. and it's started again.
And of course i get "well it purges and that is all it is" well i know that and this is not what that is... plus when all this is going on the engine gets very loud!!

Has anyone heard of this or know anything.. i take it in tomorrow at 830 and just want some info before i go. I have had 10+ Fords.. and this by far is the worse truck i've ever owned

mine done this several times when hauling heavy, finally Ford figured out the DPF was 70% clogged at 45,000 miles. Thats were the KEM came in and no problem since.

DPF, stands for diesel particulate filter, its what the EPA came up with to try to clean up the air for diesels. It's suppose to catch the "soot" from the exhaust.....thats why the "new" diesels are not suppose to smoke .....but thats another story. Any way when this filter gets full enough the truck goes through a process called regeneration mode, or regen mode and it "burns" the soot by bringing the EGTs close to 1200 degrees....but it your truck isn't performing regen correctly then the DPF is just like a banana in the tail pipe...

There is a sensor on the Turbo of the 6.0s that fails and causes no boost just as you described and I wonder if the 6.4 is no different. Not saying the DPF isn't the cause but that sensor if there can do it as well.

i doubt its the vgt on the 6.4L its redesigned and very strong unlike the 6.0L which is oil pressure controlled. i would say its a regen prob. maybe dpf but if its plugged it will always be plugged not just sometimes. plus during regen the engine derates to 325hp gets loud from the excess fuel and has poor fuel economy due to excess fuel burning.
