stuck in regen

08 f450 with 130k city driven. No codes. Been stuck in regen on and.off the last few weeks...not its stuck permanently. Getting about 5.5-6mpg. Could it be the filter is finally clogged and time for removal? Also when I was parked by a snow bank the snow turned green by the exhaust.

it could be clogged or it could be cracked... rare for a 6.4 filter to crack

you could pull it and clean it thoroughly at a coin-op car wash

stuck in regen

I've also seen the cat not getting hot enough and constantly causing it to smoke and go into regen all the time. Cat was replaced no more issues. Didn't set any codes, passed high pressure pump leak test aswell.

dpf may be clogged up, get codes pulled and have good diag run on truck, even if check engine light isnt on may be codes in memory to help pinpoint issue

After being stuck in the mode for lil over a week..went on the highway with my car in tow and it got out of it.
Im in cleaning mode again...lets see how long it lasts this time...i hate living in the city..frequent cleaning modes and not enough thorough clenses

stuck in regen

You can also put it into manual regen using a ford Ids and you don't need to drive it just let it idle
