Hard Starting
I have a F350 with only 35k miles. It has become very hard starting, once started the engine runs normally. If I drive 1 or 100 mile it is hard starting when turned off and started again. I have changed the fuel filter and air cleaner with no change.
I should have mentioned I live in Southern California and it was 86 degrees today. The batteries were replcaed about 6 months ago. After heavy cranking I get a TBC error (trailer brake contoller error) on the dash. It's hard to believe the hard starting problem and the TBC are related. Update: I took the truck to the dealer and had them fix it. Cause was a highpressure oil pump and some fitting on that line, also a crack in the turbo downtube. Good luck with your repairs.
