still in Delta
My brother-law has a 2008 F350 Diesel. it has 2,600 miles. Drove 14 hrs one day getting to Colorado. After driving 20 miles the second day it would start blowing out white exhaust that smelled like gunpowder and he would lose power after one mile it had one last big puff and died. It would not turn over after that. It was towed to the Delta Ford dealer. This was on a Friday and they would not look at until the next Tuesday. On Tuesday they said no trouble found. He picked it up and only made it 10 miles before the white smoke and it died again. They towed it back but said they could not look at it until a week from Thursday [9 days]. He went through the Ford protection people and they even tried other dealers but no one would look at it any sooner. We had to come home without the Truck it is still there and they say the are still " trying some things"
2 weeks later and the truck is still in Colorado. He has threatened with an Attorney but has had no luck. Any Ideas with what the problem could be? Lincoln |

read my post 750 Miles- bad fuel leak destroys engine
that is just what happened to my truck. white smoke, popping noise, no power, dead. check the oil level, if it's high, that's fuel in the oil and a big problem.
