Oil leak between engine/transmission

I was under my truck yesterday and noticed what appears to be an oil leak right at the engine-transmission mating surface. Truck is an '09 with 82k miles. I called the local dealer today (I live in a very, very small town). They said the engine warranty goes to 100k. They are taking a look at it tomorrow. When I bought the truck I purchased an extended warranty that appears to cover this stuff also.

I have an H&S Mini Maxx, egr delete and full dpf delete exhaust on the way to me. I was thinking I would install these parts once I have this leak sorted out with the dealer.

I welcome any input or advice.

No brainer. Get her fixed under warranty and delete!!!

Sort of sounds like your rear main seal.

They just replaced my rear main under warranty at 29k. Have them run through it then delete. And be ready to feel like you have a new truck

Took the truck to the local Ford dealership. I live in a VERY small town. They couldn't address the "tiny", as they called it, oil leak because the radiator hose has a leak. They wanted over $400 to replace two of the three radiator hoses with the improved design. I ordered all three hoses, a thermostat set and got overnight shipping from Tasca for what the local place wanted for two hoses. My sinister coolant filter arrived yesterday. I asked them about deletes. They said that won't affect the rear main being covered under warranty.

I'm not sure I trust that statement. I just ordered a gallon of Restore and Restore Plus. So, I'll have everything to do the full flushes in a few days. My EGR delete is backordered for another week.

Looking for advice on doing the flushes, getting rear seal fixed, then deleting EGR. Or deleting, flushes, seal.

Thanks guys! The information on here is invaluable! I appreciate the knowledge. Wish the local dealership had it.
