p1557 intermittently comes on

hey guys i was seeing if you have ever had this problem, i havent found anyone with the same issue. the code p1557 intermittently comes on and is becoming more and more frequent now that it's getting colder outside. As soon as the code pops up it puts my truck in limp mode, some have said it's an injector going bad and some are saying its the fuel injection control module. any input would be greatly appreciated

What year is your truck? The 6.4 does not have an FICM.
