750 Miles- bad fuel leak destroys engine

My truck has been towed to the dealer twice in two weeks. First time, the fan belt walked off. (power steering pulley not aligned properly)
The second time was two weeks ago (still there), the crank case filled with fuel and pumped fuel/oil mixture on top of 2 pistons and the hydraulic force bent two connecting rods. I am now waiting for a new engine. or a new truck.
I have always owned Fords. YIKES I'm a little scared right now. $54,000 F250 crew cab loaded. And I don't know what I've gotten myself into.

I would think that the two inccidents are related...though, the only thing I know about the 6.4's is that they kick butt!!! I think you just drew a bad one. They'll get yours fixed!!!

well my buddy got a F-450 6.4 and it was in the shop for like 4 of the first 6 months he had it. it blew up like 4 times it even blew up when the ford garage head machanic was driving it! but you cant lemmon law anything over a 3/4 ton in md anyway so they offered him a new truck and he wouldnt take it so now he is tryin to get his money back. he paid 65k for his! i thkn he just got a bad too tho because i see alot of them on the road and not to many sitting along the road, if they were all that bad it would have been all through the media by now. but dont go with a gmc just look for a 7.3 till they get them worked out. my boss has an 04 GMC and the brakes, tires, and wheels were all shot by 12,000 miles and it had been towed 3 times!!! just givem a little time to get the 6.4 worked out. keep bleadin blue you wont regret it.

Wonder if a 7.3 would fit down in an 08? Soory, had to ask I really hope they get these 6.4s' straightened out. Everytime I drive past my local Ford dealership I catch myself looking over at them

DOA update

Ford called yesterday 10/29 to say that they are sending a new engine for my truck. not a new truck like i had hoped for. it seems to me that a truck with 750 miles on it, should be replaced after all the troubles I've had. so.....I'm going to fight. i bought a new truck, not a re-manufactured truck. the people at the dealer have been great, it's ford corporate that's the problem. it took them 2 weeks to even make up there minds and give me a call. not great.
