Blowing white smoke
This is what is happening. I have changed from a program that had the EGR shut off to one that lets it work like stock.
Now my truck is missing and blowing white smoke when i pass another vehicle or leaving a stop sign. it doesn't do it all the time. i am thinking my EGR valve is sticking. has anyone ever removed this and cleaned it. |

The egr valve usually is siezed in the housing. When mine failed there was a big power loss and alot of smoke. I couldn't get a housing cause they were back ordered so I pried and hammered the old one out and cleaned out the housing. About a month later I tried removing it again to clean it and it was already seized in.
