A\C help please!!

My a/c is starting to smell a bit and the a/c takes forever to come cold or does not come cold @ all.

What's it smell like? When was the last time you added freon? Can you hear the fan cycling on and off?

it kinda smells like a wet shoe. like a musty smell. the air blows good, but i haven't listened if the fan cycles off n on.

Maybe your compressor is starting to go bad. Mine did th same thing untill finally it quit getting cold. Replaced the compressor with all the other ac parts and it's cold as ice now
