2010 f350 blown?

Friday I was driving , pulled onto a highway median, then accelerated into traffic then heard what sounded like a fan hitting a shroud , then truck dies. Coasted back into median , brought truck to a stop , tried to crank and just clicks (can hear starter connecting with fly wheel). Give you a little back round truck has 51000 miles and regular service with never any warning lights. Truck is now sitting at the dealership awaiting diagnostic just curious if anyone has experienced this before?

Just talked to ford service and they have to tear it down it just seized up they say ?

Hmmmm......seized up? Dont you just love the technical definitions that dealers give their customers.

Getting ready to tear down tomorrow so far my oil pan had an extra four quarts of diesel fuel in the oil pan and the coolant bottle also full of diesel and the engine is completely seized cannot turn over manually or by starter and still hasn't thrown any codes????????

Well I got good news today, they are replacing complete motor(everything but alternator, powersteering pump, ac compressor) turbo, intercooler, complete exhaust all the way to the muffler, entire cooling system, and anything else that would have gotten shrapnel ford official term is catastrophic failure it was a good day for me :-)
