altenator burnt up
Driving home yesterday i heard a squeling noise and smelt burning popped the hood in the driveway and my altenator was smoking like crazy. my truck is a 2008 6.4 litre diesel. Is this common with these motors sounded like the bearings. Can i use a aftermarket altenator. Thanks guys.
