6.4 occasionally dies at idle

Have an 09 6.4 has about 30,000 miles dpf cat delete sct tuner. Truck runs good when driving no loss of power but once and a while when you come to a stop it will die service wrench comes on then it wont just start write up you have to cycle the ignition 3 or 4 times then crank it and it will fire up and drive fine service tool will stay on for a while then goes off. I assumed it is not the fuel filters since it has good power when driving. Anyone ever had this problem?
not really wanting to return to stock so i can take it to dealer if i could possibly fix the problem.
