injector problem
i think i have a bad injector in number 2 cylinder does anyone know what it cost to have ford put one in?

I'm showing 4.1 hours for one injector on the left side and a suggested retail of $286.67 for 8C3Z-9E527-A
Be careful with cyl #2, it's a known hot cylinder and is one of 2 that seem most subject to base engine damage. You may want to have a manual compression check performed atleast on 2 cylinders to get a baseline |

thanks for the advice have u seen this before and if so what kind of engin damage did it do

|
Usually see melted pistons from injectors overfueling. The 6.4s fill the cac up with oil/fuel mix and start ingesting that. I have also seen injectors hung wide open, on the verge of hydrolocking the cylinder yet cause no damage at all.
