whole fuel system..........

Hello all
I know this has been talked about a lot but i need some help in making some hard decision. So here is the story, 08 F350 everything stock and its in the dealership bc it died on me. they said that pretty much everything that deals with the fuel system needs to be replace like injectors, hpfp, fuel rails, fuel line the whole bit. they gave me a quote of $7000. That blow my mind. Is this in line with what i should be paid or they over charging me. I work on my cars and truck all the time but i think this job would be a little over my head so i think i need to take it some where for the work. I live on the south part of San Antonio TX anyone know of a good diesel shop around there?

also i am thinking about doing the dpf/cat delete with a programer, intake system

if i take it somewhere that will let me should i go ahead and get them to up grade the fuel system as well?

If it is stock, and an 08, isn't it under warranty?

nope thats happened a lot lately on here. someone gets some bad fuel,destroys the system and ford doesn't cover it under warranty. seems to be the norm.

Yea nothing under warranty... I am at my wits end bc I don't have 7k just sitting around lol

Wait you ran out of warranty or you had bad fuel?? you should be covered 5yr/ 100k miles

105k miles on the truck so I just ran out haha

Take the quote to Foy at Texas Diesel on Topperwein (have had trucks actually worked on from him, supposed to be the diesel stud of SA) and to Truck Source Diese on I-35 (put my after market mods in only but they do work on diesels as well) and see where they are in comparison.

hookset is Texas diesel you are talking about the same as Texas diesel injection. That is the only one i am finding.

Well just got my truck back today. I went with Texas Diesel Injection great guys over there. I went off the deep end and got them to dpf delete with black maxx and then i installed S&b intake and man i tell you what the power is crazy. I really was not think that it would completely change my truck but it did. I cant get over how much hp those 3 little things gave me. I have the Kem SD Card on the way i will have all there tunes i will be comparing which gives me the best all around performance.
