Ford Locking ECU

aright so i destroyed my torque converter, 4th gear and 5th gear, so ford fixed it under warranty and then they updated the truck to their newest tune and locked me out of the computer so i cant tune the truck. any body know anything about unlocking the ecu?

Did you reset the truck to stock before taking it in? My guess is your using a programer, sent the truck in with a tune loaded, FORD flashed the truck to a newer program and your programer is now locked due to the inconsistency. Talk to the programmer manufacturer to see if they can unlock it.

no i reset everything back to bone stock and they covered the transmission under the warranty. they knew that I had a programmer on the truck because of how the transmission was torn up but they had no proof of the programmer being on the truck. So i believe that they have somehow locked me out of the ecu and i need to figure out how to get it unlocked

you may need to update your tuner. If that doesn't work call teh tuner company.
