6.4 EGR cooler replaced, still smoking/loosing coolant

I have an 08 6.4 with 38k miles/stock truck, I just replaced the egr cooler and its still smoking/loosing coolant. The white smoke only happens when the motor is warmed up and the "clean exhaust (regen)" comes on. It seems like when the "clean exhaust (regen)" starts, it never goes away, it runs like crap and smokes like crazy (even after i replaced it with a new egr cooler). The motor doesnt overheat and theres no check engine light. Can a bad engine oil cooler cause this problem? Am i better off just going with a tuner/dpf delete so I dont have this problem anymore? From what i understand, the white smoke is caused by the regen (coolant into the exhaust), so if i deleted the dpf i shouldnt have this problem anymore?!?!? Any input or suggestions would be great!

Mine smokes like that as well and I was loosing coolant too and I took it in and there was a leak in my upper rad. hose and apparently there is an updated version. My truck is an early job one though. But I'm not loosing anymore coolant.

I replaced both vertical and horizontal egr coolers (bulletproof diesel). It just smokes really bad when the regen kicks on, and regen kicks on on a daily basis (when the motor gets warmed up while driving). What else can it be?!?!?!

leaking injector, cracked DPF, leaking turbo or any combination

the coolant loss could easily be something else. 6.4 runs so hot many times coolant will evaporate long before it leaves a visible leak on the ground

Have you checked the oil? It could be getting in the oil.

I have a 2010 6.4 15k with same problem, ended up being head gaskets. I've had the truck back less than a week so I don't know if the problems fixed. I hate my ford!!! 50k piece of crap
