f450 2008 6.4 w/dpf-cat delete pipe . sct tune (innovative diesel)

had white smoke, rough idle ...and coolant loss
first tought.... egr cooler or water in cac

whcih i confirmed...cac tube removed +/- 2 cup of water !
* still coolant loss ?

so i ordered EGR delete kit from mkm custom(sinister)
installed everything (finger cross)

idle still the same/ NO white smoke...BUT STILL LOSE COOLANT

... SO I DROP oil again... (since i have coolant in oil)

and i put air pressure (+/- 12 lbs) on the coolant reservoir / reservoir full of water ......

and guess what..... got coolant coming out of the oil pan drain plug !

anyone can give me advice or good news ?!?!

Cavitation of the front cover behind the water pump. Pull the pump and check it out.

hey, i just pulled the water pump out...there is wear/cavitation on the bottom of water pump housing, BUT cant see anything wrong on the back side of the front cover..and gasket look perfect....

sounds like a blown head gasket to me.

what tune have you had the SCT up to? those 6.4L are not really known for blowing headgaskets, but its startin to sound like you may be running into that...
