Question for you 6.4 guys.
I am looking into purchasing a 2008 fx4 with 9000 miles. Anything I should know about these trucks? What should I look for? Should I stay away? Are they good trucks? Thank you in advance.

Is that 9,000 or 90,000 miles.
If it's 9,000 it shouldn't be much of a risk, after all it's hardly been broken in. If it's 90,000 that's a different story. Depends on how it was treated. I bought mine a little over a year ago with 27,000 miles on it. Best deal I ever made and I don't regret anything about it. |

You could find a similiar 2010 for the same price if you looked around. Buddy of mine bought a NEW 2010 Lariat (CC/LB, 4x) for $44K (plus ttl) off a dealer last year (May or June) with good options (back up camera, navigation, etc.). Keep looking.

sounds like we should stay away from the higher miliage ones? I saw an 08 450 4x4 lariat with 130k on it that was real clean. Not sure if I could handle the mpg (lol) but they wanted 26k. So stay away from high miliage 6.4's?
