Intermittent Blue smoke? HELP!
Installed afe intake about 3k miles ago went on a trip to Texas and back on after idling at a rest stop for about 3-4 mins when I took off it blew blue smoke until I got up to speed but then it didn't do anything for about the next 1000miles, then today when driving home I was cruising down the hi way at 70 going down a bit of a hill with cruise on, for about 5-7 seconds it blows blue smoke?? I'm not talking a puff I'm talking blowing blue smoke. The turbo spools up like it always has and I noticed no difference in daily drivability, I am using white bottle powerservice fuel additive and my girlfriend poured allot in a couple of tanks ago but then I ran it about 1/4 tank and refilled and added the proper amount of additive.
What could be causing this? And why is it intermittent? Could the overuse of an additive be doing this when it regens? Injector issue? I'm running 15/40 royal purple which Is CJ-4 full synthetic with a K&N oil filter. Help!! WTF is going on?? I think I'm going to put the OEM intake back on it and take it do my dealer and hope it is covered under the powertrain warranty. Thanks in advance.
