Pecking sound after oil change
Had the oil changed at dealership today at 2400 miles to get break in oil out of truck. When dealership was done with truck I got in and fired it up and now there is a pecking sound. I confirmed they used correct oil, filter and oil level was good. Their diesel mechanic climbed around underneath and drove truck. When he came back him and the service manager said it may have an air pocket around one of the lifters and it should go away. Have any of you had this issue with any of the diesels? This makes me very concerned and I hope I am worried over nothing.
Thanks, Larry |
