newbie question..

so i am new to the forum and new to the 6.4 I came from a cummins, so i just have a quick question that might sound dumb. When my truck is at lower rpms/ under load (up hills and acceleration not trailer) it seems to be way louder than at high rpms. It just seems to make a way deeper sound in a sense, i dont know if it is just the vgt turbos or what

..is this normal??

may have something to do with the EGR...as boost increases, it opens...I can hear it on mine when I drop down to EGR on tunes in similar situations
