Boost holding at 30+ PSI except during regen

Driving the F550 today doing about 70 towing an empty 7500 pound trailer the truck was boosting very high. The turbo PSI did not drop below 30 PSI the entire time until it went into regen then it was normal. It is also going into regen every 50-80 miles. It also on flat ground made a noise that sounded like a jet engine. It has done this before but only in the mountains. I believe that is an extra cooling fan but am not sure. It came on twice in 30 miles on completely flat highway. The boost thing is really bothering me and so is the constant regens. The truck is going to the dealer soon for an oil change, it would be nice to know ahead of time. I am sure they will try to tell me its fine. If it matters all maintenance has always been done perfectly and it has less than 27k.

Sounds to me like your dpf is partly stopped up. Not sure though??? My 08F350 is at the dealer now getting the dpf replaced under warranty because of this same thing. Hope this helps.
