have white smoke on start ups

i am having white smoke on start ups and i can smell burning oil I think I am having an injector going down? it smokes for a few minutes then goes to black smoke also at 90mph I am having a pulsing issue like im loosing horsepower for a few seconds and then its like it got a good shot of fuel? I had the lower cac tube silicone boot blow up the other day and I had a minimal amount of oil in that tube the mechanic keeps hinting that I have a cylinder trying to go down? or getting some injector problems I am hoping the injectors those are simple and cheap if the motors going look out I am putting me a twin turbo cummins towing bad *** ride!! any help on the other questions though?

If it is in fact an injector, it should be checked and replaced right away. Melted pistons at best if the injector lets go. Good luck.
