Check Air Filter light w/ S&B and Tune?

I have an 08 f250 with the mods in my sig, and I just put my exhaust and tuner on yesterday. I bought the intake off of somebody on craigslist about a month ago. It looks to be basically brand new, except that he sealed off the side opening near the battery on the airbox (I believe the newer ones come this way?).

Anyways, I've had just the intake on for about a month, never had any CEL's or any problems at all. But now I get the Check Air Filter message on the dash and have to reset the restriction gauge whenever I hammer the throttle. I've used the Innovative Tow tune and their Extreme Street tune so far and the problem occurs with both tunes. And I did select that I have an Aftermarket Intake on the Livewire when tuning.

Edit: Reopening the side vent fixed the problem. I guess the newer ones actually have this open too
