DPF wont shut off???

For the last 3 days of driving, my DPF wont shut off, keeps saying " cleaning exhaust filter " and the dam thing is sucking fuel like a hooker in crack alley.
I took it to ford, and they said nothing is wrong... BS... somthing is not right as this has never gone on for this long before, I always use the same fuel, and additives, this is retarded...any thoughts? Its an 09 6.4...

Mine does that also. you need to take it out on the highway and let it go through its cycle. My screen said drive to clean exhaust, then it switched to saying cleaning exhaust filter. Took probably a good 15 minnute or more drive for it to get out of reign. Thats why Im really lookin into a tuner. Mine went through a tank of fuel in less then a week since its winter time up here in MN

I have the same problem and I got a code for Exhaust Sensor High Bank 1 and 2. My DPF activates 4 times a tank under regular driving conditions and even more if I put my foot down. The dealer said there's nothing wrong with the sensors so I just installed SCT Livewire, DPF Delete Pipe, MBRP 4" Stainless Exhaust!

Oh and an S&B Intake

No, nothing sounds different, and it has same performance as usual... It just will NOT stop eating the fuel. And once again took it to ford yesterday, and they say this is "normal"

I've been having same issues with mine, lately mine likes to go into regen when I'm on 1/4 tank of fuel, and the next station is 80 miles away. That damn regen sucks down so much fuel. I cant wait for Thurs, been waiting for 2 weeks but finally my exhaust has come and got my Livewire back, so bye-bye DPF. Its the only way to go, if you want to keep your truck.

James.
