I haven't heard of the Edge from Edge work, but I know a couple have been re-worked with regen delete

That varies from state to state, but most are still safety only, your state should have a website to inform you of any up coming changes, just google it

I can't remember the company, but they took the Edge unit itself and were able to reprogram it with regen delete in order to run without a DPF without any problems.

However Edge found out about it and they can no longer do it

Go grab the October issue of "Diesel Power" Magazine. I just read an article in there that doing the DPF delete is Illegal and it voids your warranty. Interestingly, the article also goes on to show which companies have the regeneration delete in their programmers, which is broken down by Duramax, Cummins and PowerStroke.

Yes they did.....but before that they wrote about how each company is making everyone who buys it sign a waiver for "offroad use only" so that is doesn't come back to bit the company if the owner gets caught with it

Very true! Was just pointing the article out because RMAX had questions about Regen delete.
