Yes is it a Superchips programmer and no I don't have the cat installed. I still have my other programmer in hopes that soon they will have a tune to turn off regen, because it does make some serious power!!!

Glad to see you're back on the road and rolling some coal. It took a lot of guts to do what you did with such an expensive rig. My hat's off to ya!!

How many miles since you got her running right??

Might have to consider for my 08.....That just came in Tuesday night. The thing rocks.

Thanks man, I've got close to 500 miles on her right now, so I figure if nothing happens in the next 100 to 200 miles I should be in the clear....the trip to DITD will be the ultimate test

Cool....Good to hear. It sounds like you have it fixed for good.

Take a lot of pics at the DITD.

Glad to hear this all worked out for you. Reading back history on this thread, you have a lot more patience than I do. I am interested to see what happens to your MPG. Please keep us in the loop, and congrats again.

I would like to hear what the exhaust sounds like now. Good luck at your dealership if you have issues. You would think any mechanic with minimal training would be able to spot the gutted pipe just from the sound. With my luck they would deem the exhaust change the reason for a transmission failure or an out of round wheel!! If I make any modifications it will be AFTER the warranty period. I spent way too much money on my truck to pay for warranty related items. Good luck though.

Well lets put it this way, the DPF is nothing but a cork in the exhaust, you get rid of it and it comes alive .......going ranging from 80 to 90 on the highway out to DITD I was getting about 14 to 15 mpg with less than 9000 miles when I started. When I would slow down for the cities I would drop her back to 67-68 and she was getting 23 mpg!!!!.....

I am also glad this has worked out for you. When I get through my warranty period I will try some of this stuff also. Let us know if you have any warranty related issues due to modifying the DPF. That would help us all. In addition to my 6.4 I also own a 99 Harley. The first thing all Harley owners do is modify the exhaust system to sound better and have the engine breathe better. If course the Harley does not have a computer.

Good luck.
