So your saying the entire vehicle warranty is void or just the exhaust, engine, etc?

Find another dealer.

the dealer of coase will say that because of an e-mail he read from ford motor company telling him what is what but it also has to do with the descresion of the dealership... at the ford shop i worked at we had a huge deal come up when the superdutys first came out about how if any of the new trucks ever came in with dyed diesel in the tanks they where to be pushed out to the curb and service was to be refused to the customer... warantee or otherwise strictly no vehicles where to be repaired there that had used dyed diesel... and the first superduty with jelled up tanks full of the red stuff that came in do you know what they did? they still fixed the guys truck... same truck came in twice with the same problem... needless to so what ford says they will do and what ford will actualy do it totaly up in the air.

screw the dealer ship. he knows that it "could" be voided he did it anyways and he is having a great ole time. now why scare the man into falling under epa's b/s reg's. imo i dont think those dpf's will last long wether the change the law or just change the design of them but this particular one wont be around for long. and neither will ford when an 08 goes into regen will out in the forest and you light the whole forest on fire. screw the filter screw epa
screw emissions and have fun with your reborn 08

spooken like a man, this is exactly what I think. I hat the fact of what the epa legislation is making the diesels do to be compliant. FYI no dpf part suppliers have perfected the dpf yet. These arent guarranteed to work forever, there very complex, and pricey to fix. If ever buy and 08 the first thing I will do is rip the DPF off.

Ok guys well I promised videos but I have a problem, yesterday when I was on my way to my buddies house to film, the truck went into regenration mode and is stuck in regen mode. I know you don't want to be held liable but is there anything you can tell me to "trick" the truck back into normal mode? I tried pulling the rear sensor and letting it hang for a couple minutes and then slowly put it back in but it didn't do anything and its just blowing white smoke everywhere. Or as you said would a straight pipe work better because it would have more back pressure and be in a more acceptable pressure unlike the huge cat and even bigger DPF, because if thats the case then you just saved my life.....
