That's what I was going to say. Any mechanic that knows what a stock 6.4 sounds like will know it's been modified. There was a guy at IRP one evening for street legal drags who had lopped off everything after the DPF, but the truck was still as quiet as could be. If someone thinks they can just waltz into the dealer with an 08 all loud and whistly, they need to quit drinking the bong water.

Geez, at those prices you might be better of shoving all that stuff up the rear instead of installing it on the truck....

Sorry guys, but after thursday, I was so mad that I didn't want to talk to anyone..... like I said I can't give too many details yet, but I it didn't work Thursday night because I found out that my Stealership never flashed my truck for the flame throwing issue... , when they said they did twice when my truck was in for service!!!!! So I had to wait till Friday to get a "update" just to read the truck......so after work I flew home to "update" the truck and it almost worked, the truck is fighting regen mode, it idles up and down, but its not quite there......the pressure reading from the DPF is too low along with some other things... so I had to get the readings from all of the trucks sensors and relay the info and hopefully we can work something out this week, but with it being the 4th it might take a little bit....also on Saturday I went to the Stealership and ordered a new DPF sensor because I'm not too sure if mine is broken because I noticed when we went to gut the cat and DPF the sensor was loose, that would have been the Stealership's fault but I'm sure they won't correct it now anyway the sensor should be in today and I'm going to throw it on there and we will find out soon enough should be in today.....sorry about leavin you guys hangin' but man I was heated!!!

Thanks man and I know you guys aren't the enemy in fact you guys are the reason I have gotten as far with the truck as I have other wise I would be gettin it nasty from the stealership right about now. I should have updated you guys but I so mad about the truck and they didn't flash it I didn't even want to think or talk about the truck, but I'm all better now. I want to thank you guys again for the help. We are going to try to do something tonight with the DPF pressure switch if it comes in otherwise it will be tomorrow.....its going a lot slower than I thought but we are getting there.....

You need to do one heckuva write-up on this mod when you get it all figured out! Better yet after all you have been through, maybe you should just sell the secrets you have learned.

Oh believe me when we get the bugs worked out it will be on heck of a write up for sure with video, I'm not going to try to sell the secrets, I'm just trying to do what the big man said we little guys can't do and that is making our trucks our own. I still don't understand the fact of someone telling me what I can or can't do with something I'm paying for and furthermore my thought process is, why create such a headache with trying to tell people what they can't do? Because you know they are going to do it anyway. Look what they did with 6.0 how they tried to scare us. I'm sure when the 6.0's came out everyone was no way not me I'll stick with my 7.3 and look at the 6.0's now a days. So why waste time and energy on trying to stop something that you can't. Why not make some money by not only telling people they can modify THEIR trucks but also offer some quality performance parts with a warranty, could you imagine how much money they would make..... anyway that will be another thread another time

Well here is the update, the truck is finally reading pressure in the DPF, but the truck is still going into regen mode. However, it is fighting it more than ever to the point where I got worried and shut the truck down. It was reving up and down from 800 RPM to 1400 RPM as quick as possible. We are almost there, but I believe its all up to the great guys helping me out but the problem is that its the 4th this week and a lot of people are out.......man I hate waiting, but its the price you pay when you try to be the first it also kinda smarts when you make a payment on a truck that you can't drive.....
