I just a call from my girl, FedEx finally dropped off the package, so I know I've said it before but tonight is the night guys!!!!!! Man I'm going to be staring at the clock from now till 5.........come on 5 oclock!

This may be stupid on my part, but isn't there some way to simulate the backpressure that the computer is looking for? Kind of like the old stick a potato in the tailpipe gag? Hopefully a tune will be out soon that will solve all this but until then, it seems like there should be a way to fool the system. All the system is looking at is backpressure right?

man your getting me all excited for 5 o clock. a couple hours from now im gonna be sittin there taking care of something and ill be like man. 5 o clock some really important to do (check up on this thread)

Yes that is what I originally thought too, but as it turns out that is only half right. The truck is looking for a certain amount of backpressure in the sensors. But regen mode either works on a certain amount of backpressure or on a cycle such as after so much time at certain pressure it goes into regen mode to change up the back pressure by burning the soot that is in the DPF. My problem is that there is nothing in the DPF and therefore the backpressure isn't going to change and the truck is stuck in regen mode........ for now
