6.4 Oil Help
I know there are a lot of threads on this, but I wanted to get some opinions on my specific case.
I just had my oil changed about 500 to 1000 miles ago. I just recently did the DOC/DPF delete, tune, and intake on my truck. So, after this (when I was under the hood doing the intake), I decided to check the oil. I was on a slope (front higher than rear), the oil seemed a bit high. It was above the plastic about 1 cm on one side of the dipstick, and I guess right at max on the other side of the dipstick. Is this way to high, that I should be worried? Or is this simply from the regen process, and it's not too bad. If it's just some diesel in the oil, should I change the oil? Or, should I just go ahead and do it at bout 4000 to 5000 miles? It wouldn't be a huge problem to take it into the dealer and have them check everything, but I would have to put R2D2 (DPF/DOC) back on.

Park on level ground. Leave it sit for an hour then recheck your oil

Ok guys,
Here are the pictures. I didn't have time to let it sit for an hour on level ground, but I did park it on level ground from where it was. It wasn't sitting there for long, but maybe this helps. Will get some photos tomorrow after letting it sit level for an hour or so. ![]()
