New problem today, any ideas???

I had a very strange new problem come up today. I have no idea why it was doing this We were loading back up the horses in the trailer, using my truck, 4 horses to be exact. I started the truck cold, about 50*F (spartan 210 tune) and started heading down the mountain. I didn't give it a chance to warm up because I was forced to head out first.

Anyways, every time I let of the accelerator and used the engine to help brake the trailer downhill (like I always do in Tow/Haul mode), it was puffing huge amounts of very BLUE smoke. Then if I give it the slightest bit of gas, it goes away. Only when the engine was braking in Tow/Haul was it puffing smoke. Once the truck warmed up, it stopped. But man was I embarrassed in front with my Ford, and my buddies in a Dodge and Chevy behind me wondering what was wrong Any thoughts?? It's NEVER done this before
