Fuel at four different fuel outlets.

And . . . I did notice the announcement about the Surprise event. Thank you.
did they just replace the DPF or were other componants replaced too?? Also, if they cleared codes you may want to give it another thousand miles to see if the learned stratagy got cleared and the truck relearns and it gets better...

Something related to the DPF going bad is what my thinking is now as far as the poor fuel economy too....

However . . . the engine still has issues-very poor mpg's; the dealer even agrees. Pulled our Mastercraft ski boat to Lake Powell and back on Saturday-65 mph on cruise, 9 mpg going, 7 mpg coming back and it would not hold cruise. My old 2000 7.3 would have done it without even breathing hard and would have gotten over 13 mpg's doing it.
Hi aRbelin,
I've been reading your post on your oil leak my 2004 6.0 with 119,000 mile on it, in in the shop now for the crank seal. Unfortunately the extended warrantee doesn't cover it, but fortunately my Ford dealer said they would help with half the cost. Also you do know that when the 7.3's were out they got pretty good mileag, then 6.0 came out the mileage wasn't as good and now the 6.4 comes out and it's even worse. The point of the matter is the more power the less fuel mileage. I think to many Power stroke buyers didn't do they're homework or just didn't know what they're buying. To include the Power Stroke is made for heavy work not to look pretty and prance around town like a Trailer Queen. That's were all the problems come in from lugging the Power Stroke. Good luck!
