I would say fuel is getting into your oil give it a smell check to see if there is fuel in it it would also look a little thin

I would run it for another 1k then pull a sample and send it to Blackstone Laboratories

They can test for fuel dillution in your oil as well as coolant

Check them out

Good idea. Could the dealer have it analyzed under warranty?

I really doubt it. The cost of the test is 20bux, and well worth the money. I do one every 10K in my 2000. The dealer will think he's losing his mind so if he came in with his homework done, what choice do they have but to look at it. Then maybe he can get the dealer to refund his money and shipping for the test.

I took a sample of the oil change the dealer did and sent it to wagner equipments fluid testing lab. I should get the results soon. I was hoping someone else has had the same problem so i could tell my dealer where to start looking. The dealer wants me to bring my truck in and leave it possibly for weeks until they can determine where the leak is.

While picking up my '08 from the service department today they told me that they just fixed an '08 that was having this problem. New head and two new injectors. Seems to be fine now they said. It was 9 quarts over full when they drained the oil.
