Fuel Filter Question

Simple question concerning the secondary fuel filter. Would the original filter (from the factory) have a ford original part number, serial number, etc. or some other marking (besides FF- tks BAH) that would tie that filter to the truck when it was delivered to the dealer? Thks.

Other than the 'FF' for First Fit and a date, NO there isn't anything else on either of the two filters to indicate the original filters in the vehicle. Why do you ask?

Because my truck is still at the dealer (since February) and they are saying the original secondary filter(according to dealer report from reg. engineer) is still in place (58K) so I want to go up there and document that it is. If so, then my next step is to go after the dealer where I bought it and Jiffy Lube. Had services done at both places (21K and 40K) for fuel filters. If it's BS I need to know as ford has still not given me any written (or phone call other than the dealer where it's at) reason for denying the warranty or what is going on. I'm clueless and no one will talk to me.
