Bloody Regen started while driving home then get message Stop Safely Now. Truck then shuts down and leaves me stranded for the 3rd time because of the ****ing DPF. That is it I am fed up. Filter removal and a different tuner are going on this week!!!

DPF you are dead to me

There, I have vented now to figure out where to get the money for this.

How do you know it's not EGT_13 failing? What are your DTCs? P200E and P242D perhaps?

P200E is a catalyst overtemp DTC. I'm not an expert on 6.4Ls but I can tell you that the usual cause for that DTC to set is when EGT_13 fails. It seems to be a pattern failure for that sensor, which by the way, will cause a no-crank no-start. If you're within warranty, take it and have it repaired. For what it's worth, that sensor seizes up into the DPF quite often, making removal almost impossible without damage to the threads on the DPF. If this happens, sometimes the dealer may end up replacing the DPF as well.
